Carrie has been involved with children’s ministry her entire married life as the wife of our Pastor, and she has been our Children’s Ministry Director since the fall of 2018. Carrie’s testimony is that she entered her teen years thinking she was a “good girl” but realized she had been through confirmation class without being converted to Christ. This experience, and having two teenagers, motivates Carrie to make children’s ministry all about the gospel.
She earned a B.S. in General Studies from Delta State University, while also completing classes in early childhood education. Carrie helped plant a church in Indianapolis, Indiana area before coming to Ridgeway in 2009. When she’s not ministering to kids, she enjoys teaching women, long walks with her husband and Honey Bun (her Golden Retriever), and boating with her family.
